What does The Constitution mean to you?

To help commemorate Constitution Day – recognized this year on September 16^th – students all around the
nation will once again have the opportunity to participate in an annual poster contest that allows them to  visually express what The Constitution means to them. The Constitution Day Poster Contest <http://www.constitutionfacts.com/constitution-poster-design-contest> is open to students in grades k-12, and they can enter by designing a poster to be used to advertise and celebrate Constitution Day.

The Constitution Day Poster Contest <http://www.constitutionfacts.com/constitution-poster-design-contest> is sponsored by Constitutionfacts.com, which publishes “The U.S. Constitution and Fascinating Facts About It.” Since 2008, Constitutionfacts.com has teamed with the Gov Doc Kids Group <http://govdocs4children.pbworks.com/w/page/8811722/FrontPage> , a national organization that promotes better understanding and use of federal information and publications for students.

Entries must be postmarked by midnight, October 1, 2011, to be considered for this contest.

Categories in the competition are grouped by grades: Kindergarten-Grade 2; Grades 3-4; Grades 5-6;  Grades 7-8; Grades 9-12. One winner in each category will be awarded a $50 savings bond, and the grand prize winner will also receive a bicentennial coin set.
